ATTRACTIVE ANTIQUE ENGLISH 15K GOLD CORAL & DIAMOND EARRINGS c1870
A pair of antique English 15 carat gold (tests thereabouts, of heavy duty hollow construction) orb drop earrings; beautifully made, with applied wire work decoration, and set with natural orange coral inset with rose cut diamonds to the lower drops.
Lovely quality, so collectible & ready to wear!
CONDITION
: All original and very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. One or two shallow dents to backs, of no consequence. Small break in one wire border, not readily noticeable
.
DATE/MARKS
: Around 1870. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS
: 30 mm long excl. wires (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
WEIGHT
: Approx. 8.6 grams.
