HUGE VINTAGE 10K YG 34X24 HIGH DOME SOLID AUSTRALIAN CRYSTAL OPAL PENDANT

Description

Just an amazing, rare opal! The 2nd to last picture was taken in minimal lighting on a cloudy day so that you can see that this opal has beautiful color, that only gets brighter when hit with direct light.
Pictures were taken in a variety of lighting. This opal is colorful in any lighting!
Please note that the chain is for display only.
The crystal opal in this pendant is huge and very colorful. It has no chips, cracks, or fractures. It has a high dome, as well.
Approx. 34x24x9mm bezel set, measuring 1 3/8"x 1 1/8" in setting, not including bail. (weight 10.4g)
***Please note accurate to the times, when chains were worn fine, the bail is small with a approx. 2.5 to 3mm opening, but it accommodated any of my average gold chains (but will not work on an omega). See picture of side view.***
The opal has wonderful fire of reds, yellows, oranges, greens, along with some blues. A very conservative approximation of carat weight would be 30cts (only an estimate should be given once an opal is set)! ***It is 52cts with setting, the setting is very simple and it is all opal w/ an open back, weight 10.4g.***
This is just a solid, well made pendant with a bezel set huge, colorful crystal opal

It is hallmarked 10k (on top of bail) and is in excellent vintage condition.
