About Lamy
Founded in 1930 by Josef Lamy, who had previously worked for the Parker Pen Company, Lamy has remained a German-made brand, having never left their original site in Heidelberg, Germany. It has been in the family for two generations, inherited by Josef’s son, Manfred Lamy, until his retirement in 2006. To this day, they are still dedicated to the Bauhaus principle: high quality, simple design and form follows function, always.
