PRETTY ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ENGLISH 15K GOLD & PASTE DROP EARRINGS c1870
An antique English 15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) drop earrings, with applied ornate decoration and set with brightly foiled clear pastes.
Pretty, collectible & very wearable Victorian earrings!
CONDITION
: Generally very good. Slight signs of wear & faint denting commensurate with age and use. Will have originally had lower drops. Tops/wires old replacements.
DATE/MARKS
: Around 1860/80. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS
: Drops 37 mm long (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
WEIGHT
: Approx. 5.1 grams.
