    Description

Russian Soviet Warsaw Pact post WW2 helmet of WW2 design shell.
Soviet style helmet in great condition. Because of the three rivets securing the liner, it looks to be a Ssh39 helmet.
Ssh39 helmet was produced in 1939-1941, the shell same as in helmets Ssh40, which has six lower rivets securing the liner. No chinstrap side rivets to indicate this is a SSh-60 or SSh-68 version. This is almost certainly a post WW2 helmet manufactured in a Warsaw Pact nation; but no identifying marks, maybe a post Soviet knock-off. The liner and chinstrap are modern but can be switched out for more WW2 chinstrap. No size marked, but fits nicely on my 7 ½ size head. Great condition, a few scuff marks on the surface paint.
