An extremely rare cap of the general of the tank forces or artillery of the Red Army, probably made for the Victory Parade of 1945. The cap is made of high quality wool fabric. The crown is sewn from a marine wave merino caster. The metal enamel cockade is mounted on the rim. The shank is made of black velvet and embroidered with gold embroidery. The sewing pattern is two laurel branches diverging from the center. Large stalks and leaves of laurel branches are embroidered with gilded cantle, and small leaves are formed of gilded spangles sewn with thread with gilded cantle. On the upper edge of the band there is a red cloth vypushku, similar to the red cloth vypushku on the cap of the cap. Fiber visor, black, with double-side varnishing. Above the visor is located in two rows of twisted gilded filigree cord attached at the ends of two small metal buttons. Each button shows the coat of arms of the USSR with eleven ribbons of the Soviet republics. Silk cap lining without stamps and inscriptions, tatty tape made of soft brown leather. The original gold embroidery and filigree cord are well preserved, there is only minor damage. Cockade and buttons in the original gilding. Damage from the moth around the perimeter. Introduced by the decision of the Main Directorate Directorate of the Red Army No. 1412 in April 1945. Canceled for generals and marshals of aviation and tank forces by order of the Minister of the USSR Armed Forces of February 24, 1949, for all others by order of the Minister of Defense of the USSR No. 94 of June 10, 1954.
