Vintage Heavy 14K Y/G Onyx/Coral Jade Cloisonne Bead Frog Necklace ~ 35" 5.8 oz

Description

Vintage heavy 14K yellow gold black onyx, white coral, jade, cloisonne,
blue
bead, frog necklace. I think the white pieces are coral but they could
also be white onyx, I'm not sure which.
There are 52 black onyx beads,
6 carved white coral
beads,
2 carved jade beads, 2 cloisonne
beads,
7 blue beads and
a frog sitting on a lotus leaf
carved from white coral.
There are 4
Swarovski crystal and 2
14K
gold spacers on the necklace
and a
14K yellow gold lobster claw clasp.
Black onyx beads have a diameter of approximately 12 mm. White
coral
beads
have a diameter of approximately: 2 are 12 mm, 2 are 10 mm
and 2 are 5 mm. The cloisonne beads have a diameter of approximately
14 mm. Blue beads have a diameter of approximately 6 mm. Carved frog
is approximately 3/4" (19 mm) wide, 1" (26 mm) long and 1/2" (13 mm) tall.
The necklace is approximately 35" long and weighs 5.8 ounces (166 g).
Marked "585" on the clasp, see photo #12. The 585 mark equates to 14K
gold. Both the clasp and gold spacers tested positive as being 14K gold.
The connectors for the clasp to the necklace are not gold, they are gold
toned metal.
The old silk string was broken, necklace has been professionally
restrung
with red silk thread and a knot placed between each bead.
This is done so
that if the necklace ever breaks, you don't loose all the beads.
In pre-owned vintage used condition. Sorry, but no original box.
