ornate Taxco sterling silver & stone large locket pendant.
The piece bears 2 stamps, both partially legible with these marks between the two:
925 TAXCO STERLING MEXICO
. It might be Beau silver?  It is an ornate sterling silver pendant with shell and floral designs and a nice bale at the top.  In the center is about a 20mm X 30mm oval bezel set cabochon black & gray stone.  The center portion of the pendant where the stone is mounted swings open on a hinge to reveal a locket compartment.  The pendant is about 2 1/2 inches long including the bale by 1 5/8 inches wide and weighs about 30.9 grams.   The piece is in excellent pre-owned condition, with no damage.
