VINTAGE VERY FINELY CARVED NATURAL SALMON CORAL & GOLD KOI FISH PENDANT

Description

Beautiful vintage completely natural salmon coral Koi Fish pendant mounted in yellow gold.  Pendant measures with its gold bail 1 7/8" long X 7/8" wide X nearly 1/2" thick.  Weighs 17.3 grams.  The color is a rich pink salmon with shadings of white by the Koi's flowing tail.  Carving is very detailed and expertly done.  His face is wonderfully expressive.  Surface is shiny and smooth.  Gorgeous old piece of coral.  Back of Koi is nearly covered with hand carved reticulated yellow gold.  Stamped on the gold bail.  I cannot read the stamped mark but looks to be gold content. I acid tested the gold and it is under 10K which I cannot test.  Must be some low grade of gold.  Excellent all original preowned condition with a few tiny age
